The day started off as always with hot coffee, cold waders and high expectations. These were met as we entered the river an saw a herd of Roosevelt elk on the river. Descendants of a transplant of under 40 animals.....COOL!

 

 

They were exceeded with numerous Bull Trout, so hungry they will eat Hoochies fished on a floating line.

 

 

They were blown away with the landing of our first Chinook of the year for this system

 Great day, had piles of Rainbows to the dry even when there wasn't a hatch and even more when there was.

 

 

 Got into a good pod of Bull trout and managed to get a couple of photos. The colors on these fish are absolutely stunning.  

 

 

Great weather, great company and excellent fishing, you can't ask for more than that........Curtis
